Guardrail repair requires daytime work on US 101 between Blyn and Sequim May 1
BLYN – Daytime travelers who use US 101 between Blyn and Sequim will want to plan extra travel time.
Washington State Department of Transportation maintenance crews will make guardrail repairs on US 101 near Luella Road.
Work hours:
* 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday, May 1
What to expect:
* Occasional stops of up to 15 minutes in each direction.
* Shifted travel lanes on US 101 approaching Luella Road.
Whenever near work zones, please:
* Slow down – drive the posted speeds for worker and traveler safety.
* Be kind – workers are out there helping to keep people safe and improve the roadways.
* Pay attention – both to workers directing travelers and surrounding traffic.
* Stay calm – expect delays, leave early or take alternate routes if possible; no meeting or appointment is worth risking someone’s life.
