Change. <https://olympicdiscoverytrail.us21.list-manage.com/track/click?u=862004159972503fe35fefc93&id=7d6fea4ba4&e=d7954f414c> Dear Trail Supporter, Spring has sprung on the Olympic Discovery Trail (ODT)—a season of renewal, growth, and change. If you haven’t been out on the ODT this spring season, I hope that you will find time to visit the trail as it springs back to life. As our days run longer and nights shorter, tens of thousands of visitors and locals alike will ride, roll, walk, and trot on the ODT. Springtime on the trail is the start of the Peninsula Trails Coalition’s (PTC) busy season. Hundreds of volunteers over the next six months will help maintain the trail, welcome visitors and locals, distribute thousands of maps, and support many events. If you see a PTC volunteer out on the trail this spring, take a moment to say hello and thank them. Our volunteers donate thousands of hours each year in service to the Olympic Discovery Trail. The person you thank is likely a neighbor or friend! Spring, of course, is also a time of growth and change. At the PTC, we’re doing both. That’s why I am writing you today. In the coming week, you’ll receive our spring fundraising letter. Pease take the time to read it and reach out to me with any questions. We’re raising money this spring to help with generational changes underway at the Peninsula Trails Coalition, and I need your help. In short, we’re transitioning to a new generation of management and leadership so that future children and their children can enjoy and benefit from the ODT as we have.
