Her background also includes serving as Development Director at the Moody Center for the Arts at Rice University and Director of Workshop Houston, a creative youth development nonprofit she co-founded. Her extensive experience and passion for the arts make her a fantastic addition to the team! In Katy’s own words, “My goal in this work is always to ensure that artists of all kinds have what they need to do their magic. As a leader, I think of myself primarily as a facilitator for making good things happen. This means listening and being clear, flexible, and responsive to the needs of those I work and collaborate with, and providing the resources they need to achieve their goals.
