HomeMy WebLinkAbout050525 email - Duckabush RoadALERT: BE CAUTIOUS This email originated outside the organization. Do not open attachments or click on links if you are not expecting them.
Good Afternoon.
On Sunday, May 4th, our family dog was struck by a speeding car in front of our home located at 2754 Duckabush Road. For some reason our dog darted out to the road, the car struck him.
He's 170 lb. Cane Corso, not an easy dog to miss.
Granted he shouldn't have ran to the road, but he did.
Nevertheless, my reason for this email is, every day folks speed down this road where the posted limit is 25 MPH. They travel 40 to 50 for no good reason. I walk this road daily, and
it's getting worse.
Now that this has happened, I'm more than upset that it will be a child next time.
We need speed hump/bumps or something to slow these people down before someone else is injured.
We have the Duckabush elk herd grazing in our yard and surrounding areas all year round. There is no good reason for people to go go fast as the road ends at the Ranger Hole.
Please consider doing something.
Thank you.
