Established in 1985 It's Time to GIVE BIG - May 6th -7th, 2025 Help the Port Townsend Main Street Program celebrate 40 years of strengthening the heart of our community. Your support fuels everything we do — from hosting 20+ community events each year like the Port Townsend Family Portrait Town Photo (May 31st), Concerts on the Dock, Uptown Street Fair, Downtown Trick or Treat & Parade, PT Shop & Sip, Haunted Histories & Mysteries, and Holidays in PT. We also care for the beauty of our town by maintaining the Uptown and Downtown rain gardens, the hanging flower baskets, hanging 100+ lights in the trees for the holidays, decorating Downtown for the season, and maintaining Adams Street Park. We manage two loan programs supporting local businesses and property owners, and now oversee the PT Mobile Greeter Program — look for our friendly greeters and mobile info bike Downtown from May–September welcoming visitors to town! Next Up... 2025 Family Portrait Town Photo - May 31st @The Port Townsend Post Office <https://mcusercontent.com/72d728eac0a891fc7cdd75517/images/a6123eee-3a2e-628f-0477-30bffcd17828.gif> To celebrate 40 years of the Port Townsend Main Street Program, community members are invited to take part in a special Port Townsend Family Portrait on Friday, May 31 at 2 PM in front of the historic Uptown Post Office. This iconic 1800s building has recently been refreshed with newly restored windows, making it a fitting backdrop for this commemorative town photo. Local photographer David Conklin will take the photo promptly at 2 PM, so attendees are encouraged to arrive a bit early to get into place. Complimentary coffee from Sunrise Coffee and cookies from Safeway will be available for participants.
