Dear Commissioners:
I would like to express my family's deepest gratitude for the HEAR (Home Efficiency & Appliance Rebates) program. We qualified for the low-income program and reached out after a postcard
mailing. Within days, we were looped in and educated on the program by Kyle Chase at the PUD. Within a couple of weeks, we had an efficient mini split system installed at zero cost
to us. We had wildly inefficient baseboard heat (original to the home) and a fireplace that was unsafe to use.
Kyle made it truly accessible by our family. We were in desperate need for an efficient and safe heating system. I'm incredibly impressed by the entire process from start to finish.
Kudos for all the hard work behind the scenes; the logistics aren't often done well and they were here. This is truly a life-saver for our family of 5 and I just still have to pinch
myself that it is true.
