SUBJECT: Workshop,re: All County Preparedness Day
STATEMENT OF ISSUE:
The County contracted with The Production Alliance(TPA)to plan and execute two very important
community events. The first,which was hugely successful,was the Connectivity Summit conducted in
early March.
The second event is the All-County Preparedness Day,which supersedes the former All-County Picnic.
This event is planned for Saturday,June 28'.
ANALYSIS:
Danny Milholland with TPA has asked for a workshop with the Board to bring the Commissioners and
staff are to speed on event details and to solicit input on the plan with enough time to make changes
and/or incorporate any guidance received during the workshop.
Attached are two promotional promoting the event.
FISCAL IMPACT:
This workshop has no fiscal impact.
RECOMMENDATION:
Conduct the workshop,ask questions and provide guidance.

prepare to survive without access to food, water and medical attention outside of their
neighborhood. 3 Days - Good, Two Weeks - Better, 30 Days - Best.
