Take action to help protect the Endangered Species Act from the Trump administration's latest attack. <http://image.emails.sierraclub.org/lib/fe8f1372746d007871/m/22/1a6411f1-d430-4730-a89c-6df5a08e58b0.png> The Endangered Species Act is at risk! Trump and the billionaires who bought access to him want to make it easier for corporate polluters to destroy wildlife habitat, increasing threats to already endangered species. The US Fish and Wildlife Service is collecting public comments on the impact of these decisions. We need to raise our voices to stop them before it is too late -- send your comment before the May 19 deadline. <http://click.emails.sierraclub.org/?qs=b862d489ce30345aca753dd1492b62ca236bc3754eafca4a88cdcb80b6c7add6499661db28a2f00d56f3c54288807b0e18b1 b1ff0a6c8f06> Submit Your Comment Now! <http://click.emails.sierraclub.org/?qs=0b31ac9f60861920250fdb65fc95f2b9b06ba71ad8e70837ccf41f976331baf435484631f303f50e00a8557ee30fb3bc945cdf99a552ffa8> Dear John, Trump has been clear from day one that he doesn't care about protecting the environment or wildlife. Instead, he wants to make it easier for corporate billionaires (who donated millions to his campaign, by the way) to bulldoze our public lands and destroy critical wildlife habitat to increase their profits. As I write this, Congress is actively trying to sell off vast tracts of public land to private developers to pay for corporate tax cuts. Take a stand against Trump's attempts to dismantle foundational species protections -- send your comment to the US Fish and Wildlife Service! <http://click.emails.sierraclub.org/?qs=0410d872c54d054ec fcf4107d5d83633dd16556b17317cded39e9f712b938cedbce4f9713a329840cca668c88caa07dd9251d34d87fa5ac1> Wildlife in the US is already running out of places to live, in large part due to habitat destruction. In fact, a football field-size patch of land disappears every 30 seconds to build roads, houses, pipelines, and other human development. With over one-third of species at risk of extinction, we should be working to protect more habitat, not less. Yet the US Fish and Wildlife Service has proposed changes intended to eliminate habitat protections required by the Endangered Species Act. This is THE most serious threat to the integrity of the Endangered Species Act that we have ever seen. <http://click.emails.sierraclub.org/?qs=e679ab91dbbbd65cd836cddda3c73150cb3ed20b947589520d2c7dc4e5b0ea2e100f3a0aba2e56f4e1f4a2f0054c5bd143cf27a8dc0d882c> The Endangered Species Act has helped protect bald eagles. It has been one of the most successful environmental laws we have since it was signed into law 52 years ago, restoring the populations of species on the brink of extinction and providing a model to restore biodiversity across the globe. This egregious proposal from the Trump administration is not only an attack on the Endangered Species Act and the species it protects, but on the future of healthy ecosystems that support our clean water and clean air. We need to tell them in no uncertain terms that we want STRONGER endangered species protections, not weaker -- send your comment in before May 19. <http://click.emails .sierraclub.org/?qs=bc7a3e59638b66627ccb045afc5a366cac7532b746f3fda378974eb63114234b27b08f6c018d3e806d6316c5eeb83d526f06f39e051c4cb3> Thanks for all you do to stand up for wildlife.
