* Casework Connections…coming to a community near you: Our casework team has been hard at work advocating on behalf of our neighbors — successfully returning over $500,000 in funds owed

* Re-Introduced Wild Olympics with Senator Murray: This week, I joined Senator Patty Murray in reintroducing the Wild Olympics Wilderness & Wild and Scenic Rivers Act, legislation that
would permanently protect more than 126,500 acres of Olympic National Forest as wilderness and 19 rivers and their major tributaries—a total of 464 river miles—as Wild and Scenic Rivers.

* Meetings this Week: This week was jam packed with meetings with constituents, community partners, and stakeholders. We met with the Washington State Insurance Commissioner Patty Kuderer,
Warner Brothers, National Utility Contractors Association, the American Waterways Operators, and more.
* Celebrating my Democratic colleagues on the Energy and Commerce Committee: This week, Democrats on the Energy and Commerce Committee fought back tirelessly for over 24 hours against
plans to gut health insurance, including Medicaid. They shared countless stories from their constituents who rely on programs like Medicaid and it was so powerful. Learn more here <https://iqconnect

to upend Birthright Citizenship – the Constitutional right to American citizenship if you are born here. This Administration’s attempt to disregard our Constitutionally enshrined rights
is cruel and malicious and is being challenged in the courts in at least 3 lawsuits — including one led by our own Attorney General Nick Brown. Back in January, a federal judge ruled
in one of those cases to temporarily block this policy, deeming it “blatantly unconstitutional.” And, it is. I will keep fighting to protect our rights and our most vulnerable communities.
