Analysis/Strategic Goals/Pro's 8: Con's: Four bids were opened at the Board meeting on June 21,2010. Public Works has verified the bid amounts and the apparent low bidder's qualifications. Shold Excavating Inc has been determined to be the lowest responsive bidder. This project is item number two on the 2010- 2015 Six Year Transportation Improvement Program and is included in the 2010 Annual Construction program. FiscallmpactlCost Benefit Analysis: The Recreation and Conservation Office (RCO) will fund 50% of project costs to match local funds. Recommendation: Public Works recommends the Board award the contract to Shold Excavating Inc for their bid amount of $110,080.00, and requests the Board Chair sign the attached 'Recommendation of Award of Contract' where indicated, and return one copy to Public Works (attn Valerie Greene).
