Call to Order: Chairman Ken Przygocki called the meeting to order at 2:00 p.m. in the presence of
Member Dan Taylor, Chief Examiner Sarah Melancon, Secretary Kristen Bennett and Lindsay
Gonzalez. Member Gebo joined remotely via Zoom at 2:09 p.m.
Public Comment: No comments received.
Approval of Minutes: Member Taylor Motioned to approve the meeting Minutes from February 25,
2025, as presented. Member Gebo seconded the Motion. The Motion carried.
New Business:
1. Reminder to Complete OPMA Certification: Members were advised to complete their
OPMA training and promptly submit the corresponding certification.
Old Business:
1. PST transition to GSI Exam candidate update: Secretary Bennett reviewed procedures for
contacting candidates on the Entry/Lateral Corrections and Deputy Eligibility Lists,
including the PST transition to GSI exam, exam retake vouchers, and eligibility list removal.
2. Continuation of the discussion regarding the utilization of PST for future Patrol Sergeant
Exam administration: A discussion was held regarding the PST examination procedures for
the Sergeant promotional process and their overall value to the Sheriff's Department. Chief
Examiner Melancon concurred with the proposed approach and committed to presenting
the associated budget to the Board of County Commissioners for approval. Member Taylor
Motioned to proceed with the utilization of PST for promotional testing. Member Gebo
seconded the Motion. The Motion carried.

regular meeting scheduled April 22, 2025.
