Anderson Lake Connector Trail Presentation by Brian Hageman
Olympic View Area Manager, Washington State Parks
Brian Hageman is the Olympic View Area Manager for Washington State Parks. He has been working
for parks for 28 years. He oversees Fort Worden, Fort Flagler, Fort Townsend, Anderson Lake, Mystery
Bay, Kinney Point and the Rothschild House. He is a second-generation park ranger. His father
managed Fort Casey State Park on Whidbey Island for 36 years. Brian has worked at Larrabee,
Deception Pass, Cape Disappointment, Ike Kinswa and Lake Sylvia State Parks. He has been in his
current post for the last 11 years and has seen a lot of change over the years.
Brian's presentation wilt be an update on the Anderson Lake State Park Trail Extension and trailhead
project that is part of the Olympic Discovery Trail. He will also answer questions about the other parks
he manages.
