SUBJECT: APPROVAL OF MOTION re: Authorizing the following Housing Task Force
(HTF) members to designate an alternate to attend the HTF meetings in their
absence: Viola Ware, Cheryl Weinstein, Sarah Martinez, Ajay Mohan, Michael
Moore, Cameron Jones, and Adrian Smith
STATEMENT OF ISSUE:
The Housing Fund Board created the Housing Task Force (HTF)to create Jefferson County's 5-Year Plan to
end homelessness. There will be a limited number of meetings through the end of 2025,which will result in
a public hearing held by the Board of County Commissioners, and ultimately lead to adoption of the plan.
ANALYSIS:
Various members representing housing agencies on the Housing Task Force, have scheduling conflicts and
have expressed their request to appoint a designee in the event they are unable to attend a HTF meeting. As
this is a limited Task Force, staff is recommending that the BOCC grant authority to members of these
agencies, to appoint a designee.

RECOMMENDATION:
Approve a motion authorizing the following Housing Task Force (HTF) members to designate an alternate
to attend the HTF meetings in their absence: Viola Ware, Cheryl Weinstein, Sarah Martinez,Ajay Mohan,
Michael Moore, Cameron Jones, and Adrian Smith.
