In Salem Oregon two days ago 12 people were stabbed at the union gospel mission; Daniel a staff member of Bayside's subcontractor a faith based Non-profit that runs the 209a Monroe Street shelter response "what do you want me to do, cry about it? It's not my problem." I am sure many consumer complaints at the Salem shelter like the 209a shelter were round filed and those not round filed ignored. Daniel's response is the response to 99 percent of complaints to shelter contractors and the government who hires them. From consumer fraud, to fair housing violations, to attacks against protection classes to ignoring rcw codes that are supposed to be followed because they protect everyone Daniel's refrain rings out everywhere. The 209 a shelter subcontractor shares the philosophy of some other shelter contractors that have been sued by Washington State for discrimination against protected classes, currently protected classes are not receiving equal protection required under the 14th amendment in the shelter and you all look the other way while singing out Daniel's refrain what do you want me to do cry about it it's not my problem.
