Supplement No.1 to WSDOT Local Agency Agreement LA 7177
Quinault South Shore Road Repair
Statement of Issue: A Local Agency Agreement with the Washington State
Department of Transportation (WSDOT) was executed on May 4, 2010, for use of
federal highway funds for permanent repairs to the Quinault South Shore Road, which
was damaged during a flood event earlier in the year. Supplement No.1 to this
Agreement is being proposed to place federal funds into the "State" category in order
to allow WSDOT to perform certain engineering work on this project.
Analysis/Strategic Goals/Pro's & Con's: This action will allow WSDOT to perform
certain engineering work on this project. WSDOT is well qualified to perform the
work.
Fiscal Impact/Cost Benefit Analysis: Supplement No.1 moves committed federal
funds from the Agency (County) line into the State line.
Recommendation: Execute three (3) originals of Supplement NO.1 and return all
three (3) to Public Works for further processing. A fully executed original of
Supplement No.1 will be returned to the Board when signed by WSDOT.
