Temporary changes coming to US 101 between Forks and Lake Crescent

east of Forks.
What to expect
Temporary traffic lights will alternate travelers in both directions on a single lane around the clock on westbound US 101 near Wisen Creek Road. The speed limit will be reduced to 25
mph between mileposts 208.8 and 209.88.
Why this is needed
Contractor crews working for the Washington State Department of Transportation will build a new bridge on eastbound US 101. Work on the eastbound bridge is expected to wrap up fall 2025.
The westbound bridge was completed fall 2024.
The bridges replace a culvert under the highway that blocks fish migration.
