Last year Washington joined 11 other states in going big to reduce diesel truck pollution—and now those efforts are under attack nationwide. State leadership on climate has never been
more important. We need your help to support the Department of Ecology’s rulemaking on Advanced Clean Trucks. This month, state regulators are accepting public comment and holding a
public hearing on proposed amendments to the Advanced Clean Truck (ACT) and Heavy-Duty Omnibus (HDO) rules. We need your help to express support for these rules, which have faced legislative
and other attacks in recent months.

Here in Washington, more than four million people live and work near diesel exhaust levels that are high enough to increase the risk of serious health problems, including cancer. You
can see it and smell it when a big truck passes you on the highway or in our neighborhood—diesel truck pollution is a daily reality for Washingtonians. But it doesn’t have to be this
way. Clean, quiet, zero-emission trucks are hitting the road, protecting our health and our climate.
Your help is needed to show strong support! Here are two ways you can show support for clean transportation, clean air, and healthy communities across Washington:
* 1) Testify at one of two virtual hearings being hosted by Ecology - June 24 at 9 a.m. or June 25 at 5 p.m. We're providing a Virtual Testimony Training to show the what, why, and best
