Plan for daytime road work on SR 19 near Swansonville Road June 17
BEAVER VALLEY – Daytime travelers who use State Route 19/Beaver Valley Road will want to plan extra travel time.
Washington State Department of Transportation maintenance crews are scheduled to repair the slope near the roadway.
During the work, flaggers will alternate traffic on SR 19/Beaver Valley Road approaching Swansonville Road.
Work hours:
* 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday, June 17
What to expect:
* Unscheduled stops up to 10 minutes
Whenever near work zones, please:
* Slow down – drive the posted speeds for worker and traveler safety.
* Be kind – workers are out there helping to keep people safe and improve the roadways.
* Pay attention – both to workers directing travelers and surrounding traffic.
* Stay calm – expect delays, leave early or take alternate routes if possible; no meeting or appointment is worth risking someone’s life.
