Phase 2 is Completed! Playground equipment is designed and rated for 2-5-year-olds and 5-12-year-olds. Separate play areas are often designed into playgrounds, so the younger children don't get trampled or overwhelmed by all the big kids running around. We designed JUMP! with this in mind so all kids and their parents feel safe and have fun without worry. Phase 1 included the 5–12-year-old rated equipment, leaving some of the younger kiddos and just beginning walkers with little to actively engage in. With the completion of Phase 2, there is now a separate play area with an accessible ramp to an accessible and inclusive sensory Rock N Raft, various slides and sensory panels. There is a spinner seat and a low to the ground climber for toddlers that aren't walking to explore. They have been painted to match what occurs occasionally in nature and have become grey and white Orcas which will keep them cooler when the sun is shining. And there is a shade over them too to help them stay cool.
