WSF Monday Matters Mukilteo/Clinton route closure Tuesday evening, June 24 On the evening of Tuesday, June 24, our maintenance crews will be doing important repair work on our Mukilteo terminal vehicle transfer span. That’s the part of the dock cars drive on and off the ferry. To allow for the time necessary to do the work safely, we need to stop Mukilteo/Clinton route service after these two sailings: * 8:30 p.m. Clinton to Mukilteo (This ferry will stay at Mukilteo and be used as a work platform.) * 8:35 p.m. Mukilteo to Clinton All sailings after these times are canceled for the night. Service will start again as scheduled the next morning, Wednesday, June 25, with the 4:40 a.m. Clinton to Mukilteo and 5:05 a.m. Mukilteo to Clinton sailings. Thanks for your support as we make these needed repairs. Please direct any customer inquiries to the online schedule <https://wsdot.com/ferries/schedule/> or real-time map <https://wsdot.com/ferries /vesselwatch/default.aspx> for updates. Completed Sailings For the week of June 16 – June 22 – we completed 99.1% of our 2,878 scheduled sailings. Of the 31 cancellations, 42% (13) were due to schedule resets (when a boat is so far behind schedule, we cancel a sailing to get it back on schedule, providing predictability for customers), 23% (7) were due to vessel-related issues, 16% (5) were due to other miscellaneous reasons, 6% (2) were due to crewing, 6% (2) were due to tidal currents, and 6% (2) were due to emergencies. Customer Service Alerts For the week of June 16 - 22 – our customer service team sent 219 rider alerts, received 4,800 customer calls, and fielded more than 200 written comments and emails related to reservations, schedules, and fares. The reality of adding service: We’ll need to crew three more daily boats for this added service. While we've done a lot of hiring and career development in recent years, we will have fewer available relief crew members. This could mean more cancellations due to a shortage of crew. Hybrid Conversions/New Vessels/Terminal Electrification Hybrid Conversions – We have taken possession of the Wenatchee and moved the ferry from Vigor’s shipyard in Seattle to Eagle Harbor on Bainbridge Island. Work continues to ready the vessel for service, train the crew, and obtain U.S. Coast Guard re-certification. New Vessels – Bids for new hybrid-electric 160-auto ferries were received and are being reviewed and analyzed. Terminal Electrification – Vessel charging system proposals have been reviewed and an award announcement is expected soon. The Bainbridge Island Terminal Electrification Project and Seattle Terminal Electrification Project will conduct in-water exploration in June. Results will inform project designs. 309=0;310=0.01;311=0;312=0;313=0;314=0;315=0;316=0;317=0;318=0.07;319=0.99;320=0.02;321=0.1;322=0.01;323=0;324=0;325=0;326=0.08;327=0;328=2.26;329=1.61;330=3.5;331=2.96;332=0.9;333=0;334=1.75;335=2.5 2;336=0;337=0;338=1.3;339=0;340=0;341=0;342=0;343=0;344=0;345=0;346=2.33;347=3.5;348=1.79;349=2.52;350=1.3;351=0;352=0;353=0;354=2.39;355=0;356=0;357=0;358=0;359=0
