Minutes will be approved at <br />a later date. !lr. Mark NcCready represented the Assessors' Office for <br />the hearings. <br /> <br />BE-85~63-C Geoffrey S. Masci petition for reduction of valuation from <br />$124,685 to $102,000. June 1985 appraisal made for purpose of a loan <br />indicate valuation. Issue of use (residence or business) was basis <br />of revaluation versus the appraisal. Board must look at the property <br />anQ comparables. <br /> <br />BE-85-63LO Neil L. Day,petitioned for reduction of valuation from <br />$53,500 to $22,000 due to Health Department notice of non-perkability. <br />Assesser indicated valuation was adjusted in fall of 1984 to $26,750 <br /> <br />BE-85-68 LO Chester R. Hill petitioned for reduction of valuation of <br />.5 lots in Chimacum Creek basin; Chalmers additiOD. Board will review <br />'this petition in conjuction with BE-85-52 thru (Walter R. Shold) and <br />BE-85-55 th'ru (llilliam A. r~eyer) in lieu of limitations of Shoreline <br />r~an2ement, Health Department and Department of Fi sheri es. <br /> <br />BEc85-33 and 84 Francis T. Hall requested withdrawl of petition <br />due to. termination of sewer moraterium. Board accepted withdrawal request. <br /> <br />BE-85-69-R Fred S. Tanaka petitioned to find cause and justification - <br />for .tax, increases. Adjustments in vaul ation were expl ained by Assessor. <br />Assessor recommended reduction of valuation from $78,333 ~o range of <br />$70',000 to $72,000 after inspection. . <br /> <br />Board of Equalization reviewed the minutes of the July 24 meeting <br />Motion was moved and passes to approve the minutes as presented. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br />BE-85.70-R Dorothy E. Callaway petitjoned for relief on $13, 500 valuatton <br />of land on which her home is located. Property purchased in 1967 had <br />.a view. Neighbors planted trees obscuring the view now. Assessor recommends <br />adjustments to lots 2,a,5,6,7,8 in this block. Board inspection essential. <br /> <br />BE-85-71-LO Petitioner Pickering did not appear at hearing. His <br />petition for adjustment was based on cost per acre rather than water <br />front footage valuation. Assessor recGmmends adjustment on two lots <br />to reflect adjustment made on 3rd lot last September. <br /> <br />BE-35-72-LO Kathleen J. Klemann petitioned for review of valuation of <br />8 blocks of Fowler-Park consisting of 121 50X100 lots S.E. of Cook <br />Avenue currently valued at $1500 to $2250 each. Last revaluation was based <br />on values shown on a sales program in which many sales had subsequently <br />defaulted. Assessor recommended Board inspection and consideration of <br />a sub division revaluation. <br />
