DeLeo <br /> <br />Chairman <br />Vice-Chairman <br />Member <br />Alternate <br /> <br />M I NUT E S <br /> <br />6 September 1985 <br /> <br />Board met in the norning to complete scheduling of field inspections and to complete <br />other paper work of the Board. <br /> <br />The afternoon session was devoted to review and conclusions of some of the petitions. <br />Carolyn Lea was sworn in as Clerk of the B.O.E. <br /> <br />BE-85-12-R: The Board inspected this site in mid-morning of Thursday, the 5th of <br />September, and Ms. Bliss assisted in the inspection. Evidence of perk test holes <br />was found; however, !ls. Bliss acknowledges that there is no record of perk tests <br />having been made prior to her purchase of the property. <br /> <br />The Board concluded that there should be some adjustment in the land valuation con- <br />sisting of the following: <br /> <br />1) 195 front footage <br />2) Adjustment due to <br />3) 4.5 acres of land <br /> <br />@ $500/F.F. = $97,500 <br />excess depth & width @ 30% = <br />above R.P. @$5,000/acre <br /> <br />Total land value <br />IMprovements <br /> <br />Revised valuation appraised = <br /> <br />- 29,250 <br />22,500 <br />= $90,750 <br />35,870 <br />$126,620 <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />= <br /> <br />" <br /> <br />BE-85-14LO: The Board inspected this site in early morning of Thursday, the 5th of <br />September, and r1rs. Broders assi sted in the i nspecti on. The property is 600 feet <br />al cin'g^ the top of a 100 foot hi gh bl uff taperi ng in wi dth from 130 feet to 25 feet <br />above 'crest of the bluff. THe Board judged to adjust the valuation of this property <br />as 600 front feet at $300/front foot with a 50% ~eduction due to limitation of <br />building set~back regulation. The adjusted valuation should be set at $90,000. <br /> <br />BE-85-15R: The Board inspected this site in late morning of Thursday, the ~th of <br />September, and !,lr. Nelson assisted in the inspeciton. The building was'.1'ound to be <br />in a' very sad state of repairs due to lack of maintenance and extenuation drainage <br />problems.
