DeLeo <br /> <br />Chairman <br />Vice-Chairman <br />Member <br />Alternate <br /> <br />M I NUT E S <br /> <br />7 October 1985 <br /> <br />Board met to make decisions on appeals and to take other actions deemed necessary to <br />complete this year's appeals. <br /> <br />The Board arranged to inspect Brueckman properties (appeals 89,90, 91) at 10:00 A.M. <br />on Tuesday the 18th of October. The Board also submitted a list of 15 parcels <br />where further information should be provided by the Assessor's office prior to <br />final deliberations and requested that verification be made whether the State <br />Revenue Department has any adjustment recommendations for six commercial properties <br />in which they participated. <br /> <br />For future records, the Board recorded the decisions made in a works session <br />at Clearwater on the 26th of September on seven parcels. (see minutes of that date) <br /> <br />BE-85-6-,7,8.: The Board made an inspection of properties of the Bellevue Addition <br /> <br />above MacDonald Cove south of Brinnon on Hood Canal. Due to a history of recent sales <br />in this sub-division, the Board and Assessor's representative concluded that all lots <br />in Blocks 1-20 should be' adjusted to a valuation of $250/1ot. <br /> <br />(1) BE-85-6 (parcel 932-101-701) consisting of lots 2,3,6; Blocks 17 were <br />revalued from $6,000 to $750. <br /> <br />(2) BE-85-7 (parcel 932-101-701) consisting of lots 1,4,5; Block 17 were <br />revalued from $6,000 to $750. <br /> <br />(3) BE-85-8 (parcel 932-101-603) consisting of lots 7,10,11,14,& 45; Block 16 <br />were revalued from $7,875 to $1,250. <br /> <br />(4) The Board will request the assistance of the Assessor's office to make <br />corresponding adjustments to all Other lots in Blocks 1-20 of the Addition <br />for Board approval. <br /> <br />BE-85-9-LO: (parcel 937-800-120) Board inspected property on 9-18-85 and considered <br />potential of moving home from adjacent lot tQ this parcel to get set back from bluff <br />and to use existing septic drain field. Board moved to reduce valuation from $31,500 <br />to purchase price of October 1984 ($16,500). <br /> <br />BE-85-10-LO (parcel 602-342-004) Board inspection on 9-16-85 found that the river <br />change in chanel has cut off Pal amino Drive, thus isolating this and three other <br />parcels to the east. The Board moved to reduce the valuation from #3,250 to $800 <br />as petitioned. <br />NOTE: The Board also moved to seek assistance of Assessor staff in adjusting <br />other three parcels so affected. <br /> <br />BE-85-85-11-R (parcel 937-800-119) The Board inspected this parcel on 9-18-85 and <br />found the caving of bluff to be within 10 feet of house. Home value and 50% <br />reduction of land valuation due to performance of bluff. The Board sustained the <br />current val uation of $5!J,890. <br />
