Douglas, Member Archie Barber, Jr. and Clerk Dierdrei Keegan <br />present. Chairman Dalgleish was not present due to medical needs. The Board dispensed <br />with the reading of the Minutes of previous meetings at this time. <br /> <br />LENORA LOMSDALEN <br />POST OFFICE BOX 147 <br />QUILCENE, WASIDNGTON 98376 <br /> <br />BOE: 91-025-LO <br />PN: 801 212 007 <br /> <br />Clerk Keegan swore in Lenora Lomsdalen, and Cathy and Wayne Painter and Assessor Robert <br />Shold after Chairman Barber explained the hearing process and the options available to the <br />petitioner. <br /> <br />Lenora Lomsdalen explained that if her property valuation is raised she will not be able to <br />pay the taxes. She stated she does not have a senior citizens exemption on this property (this <br />is not her primary residence). <br /> <br />Chairman Barber explained that what determines the valuation of the property is the fair <br />market value based on comparable property sales. <br /> <br />Robert Shold stated that the residence and one acre exemption is applicable only to the <br />residence a senior citizen lives in. He noted that he would help Mrs. Lomsdalen obtain the <br />necessary paperwork to determine if she qualifies. <br /> <br />Mr. Painter spoke on behalf of Mrs. Lomsdalen and noted that two thirds of the property is <br />wetland. <br />
