Dire~tor, and George Warren, C.E.T.A. <br />Department of Employment Security appeared to work with the Board on the <br />prioritizing of the C.E.T.A. applica~ions. <br /> <br />Petition for vacation of! a county road was submitted by <br />Allan Lien and Win Williams for portions of Kennedy and Curtis Streets <br />in Hadlock. Commissioner Brown moved to set hearing date for May 12, <br />1980 at 11:30 a.m., Commissioner Mer~er seconded the motion. Unanimous. <br /> <br />petition for vacation of, a county road and lots and blocks <br />was submitted by Discovery Timber Company. commissioner Mercer moved to <br />set the hearing date for April 14, 1~80, at 11:00 a.m. Commissioner Brown <br />seconded the motion. Unanimous. <br /> <br />Application for a dance ~icense received from Patrick E. <br />McQuade for the Geoduck Tavern in Br~nnon. Commissioner Mercer moved to <br />approve and sign the application, Commissioner Brown seconded the motion. <br />Unanimous. <br /> <br />BUSINESS FROM COUNTY DEPARTMENTS: <br /> <br />Planning re: 1. Army Corps Notices:' <br />a) 071-0YB-I-005909~; Cecil L. Midkiff. The Board signed <br />the notice of no objection and advised that on January <br />28, 1980 they determined that this project was exempt <br />from the Shoreline ~anagement Act. <br />, <br /> <br />2. S.E.P.A. Threshold petermination for a building permit <br />application; Daryl Hedman. The project is to construct <br />a storage and offic~ facility at Ness' Coroner, building <br />permit no. 8858. The Board reviewed the environmental <br />check list and determined the need for further study be- <br />fore action can be taken. <br /> <br />3. Declaration of Sign~ficance. The Board signed the formal <br />declaration of sign~ficance for the Seattle Yacht Club <br />as per Board's determination of March 10, 1980 by motion <br />of Commissioner Bro~n, seconded by Commissioner Mercer. <br />Unanimous. <br /> <br />4. Mechanical Clam Harvesting Task Force Meeting. Goldsmi th <br />requested the use of Shoreline Management Advisory Commis- <br />sion funds to pay the cost of sending a non-member. The <br />Board denied the re~uest. <br />i <br /> <br />5. Letter of resignati~n from the Shoreline Management Advi- <br />sory Commission was! received from Amos Cameron. Commis- <br />sioner Brown moved to accept the resignation, Commissioner <br />Mercer seconded the!motion. Unanimous. <br /> <br />6. Appointment to the ~ounty Planning Commission. <br />Brown moved to appo+nt Florella Telling to fill <br />expired term of William Svensson.
