All Board members and <br />Clerk Lea were present. <br /> <br />BOE-87-076-LO - Parcel No. 021-029-018 - Petitioner Blakley was not present for the <br />hearing. Bob Shold represented the Assessors office. The petition stipulated that <br />this parcel, a 165' '1.. 150' (l;, acre) lot on Swartz Road, is not large enough to <br />support building improvements. The lot has been cleared for recreational use. <br />The Assessor confirmed that this parcel has limited recreational use and confirmed <br />that the purchase of this parcel in 1984 at $3,800 is the only recent sale of this <br />type of property. <br />The Board moved and passes a motion to sustain the current valuation of $4,000 <br />in as much as there were no recent sales records to justify a change in valuation. <br /> <br />BOE-87-077-R - Parcel No. 977-700-062- Petitioner Christensen was not present at <br />the hea.ing. Bob Shold represented the Assessors office. The petition stipulated <br />that (1) the parcel was purchased in 1978 for $55,000 (2) that the 1400 square foot <br />house was built in 1941 and a 720 square foot garage and carport was constructed <br />in 1986 and (3) that the parcel has been used as income property between 1980-87. <br />The Assessor pointed out:that'this parcel consists of 120 front feet on Admiralty ll1let <br />on top of a high bank with access to the beach.and presented two comparables with <br />sales in 1985 for $85,000 and $100,000.Board inspection may have influence on any <br />decision to make a adjustment. <br /> <br />BOE-87-078-LO- Parcel No, 721-043-001- Petitioner Indykiewiez did not come from <br />Ne~ Brighton , Mn to appear at the hearing. Bob Shold represented the Assessors <br />office. This parcel consists of part of Govt. Lot 2 of 7.4 acres with 280 front <br />foot on Hood Canal and a partial separation by South Point Road. The petition <br />requested a reduction in valuation from $91,000 to $52,388 due to topography and <br />separation of uplands above the road. <br />The Assessor stipulated that the current valuation was based on $450 per front <br />foot on the 280 frontage less 30% for wet lands and excess plus $10 per front foot <br />for tidelands fronting on this parcel. A cOlllparable sale in the iif'.IlB.. was based on <br />$470 per front foot (8-8-85) <br /> <br />BOE-87-079~LO - Parcel No 721-043-009 Petitioner Indykiewicz not present. Bob <br />Shold represented the Assessor's office. This petition concerned the parcel south <br />of the pervious petition (Tax 1 plus tidelands) consisting of 5.66 acre land parcel <br />with 200 front feet on Hood Canal. partly across South Point Road. . <br />The Assessor stipulated that the current valuation was based on $450 per front <br />foot Jess 25% for topography and excess land plus $10 per front foot for tidelands <br />abutting this Tax lot. <br /> <br />BOE-87-080-LO - Parcel No. 721-043-010- petitioner lndykiewicz was not present. <br />Bob Shold represented the Assessors office. This petition concerned the third and <br />southern most parcel of the previous petitions consisting of Tax Lot 2 (100 front <br />feet) plus Tax E and F tidelands abutting the uplands. <br />The Assessor stipulated that the current valuation was based on $450 per front <br />foot 1 ess 15% for topography pl us $10 per front foot{Qr the ti del ands. <br />
