Members William S. <br />Marlow and Richard A Broders were present. <br /> <br />HEARINGS <br /> <br />John & Patricia Stone <br />P.O. Bob Shold was present on behalf of the Assessor's office. <br />Chairman James A DeLeo explained the hearing process and swore them in. Mr. Stone explained <br />that Coast Oyster has built two huge buildings and added several large tanks to their dock system <br />in the past few years. This construction has obstructed the Stone's view. They can no longer see <br />down the canal. <br /> <br />Bob Shold stated that he does not have any evidence to prove that the Stone's property has been <br />devalued because of this construction. No houses have sold in the area. He added that the <br />Stones are not contesting the value of the house or property and loss of view is a difficult thing <br />to assess. <br /> <br />Mrs. Stone explained that, in the future, when they sell their house, she feels it will be worth less <br />money than the adjacent houses because of the view restriction. <br /> <br />After hearing the testimony of both parties the Board concurred that they would conduct an <br />inspection of the property and make a determination at a later date. <br /> <br />ft <br />\.t1 100% Recycled Paper <br />
