Marlow called the meeting to order at 9:30 a.m. in the presence of Vice-Chairman <br />Richard A Broders and Member James A DeLeo. <br /> <br />ASSESSMENT CORRECTIONS <br /> <br />Vice-Chairman Sroders moved to accept the following assessment corrections. Appraiser Peter Schuck represented the Assessor's office and was <br />sworn in by Chairman Marlow. The property under appeal is approximately 3.3 acres of land located at Dabob <br />Bay. The appellants stated on their petition that "This property during 6 months of the year is 4 wheel drive <br />only. Steep terrain, falling trees, mud slide are cause of personal hardship. I have been stuck with my 4x4 in <br />the past. I am not an expert on the dollar amount less, but, please consider the slides effect both the road and <br />access to the beach front." The current assessment of the land is $84,465. The appellants estimate the value is <br />$74,000. <br /> <br />Mr. Schuck stated that the property consists of approximately 175' of high bank waterfront. There have been <br />no sales of property along the same road as the appellant's property, however, there have been seven sales in <br />the Dabob Bay area which were used in valuing the property.
