Marlow called the meeting to order at 10:00 a.m. in the presence of Vice -Chairman <br />Richard A. Broders and Member James A. E. <br />Tacoma, WA 98446 <br />The Board carefully considered the testimony of both parties and conducted a physical inspection of the <br />property. Based on sales of comparable properties it was determined that the current assessment reflects <br />fair market value. Thus, the Board must uphold the valuation of the Assessor's office. Vice -Chairman <br />Broders moved to sustain the Assessor's valuation of S535,515 ($152,450 for the land and $383,065 for <br />the improvements). Member DeLeo seconded the motion which carried by a unanimous vote. Based on the purchase price of this property and sales of comparable properties in the area, it is <br />determined that the current assessment reflects fair market value. Thus, the Board is compelled to uphold <br />the valuation of the Assessor's office. Vice -Chairman Broders moved to sustain the Assessor's valuation <br />of $220,580 ($53,000 for the land and $167,580 for the improvements).
