Chairman - Hospital Commissioner District #2 <br />Sheila Westerman, Vice Chairman - Citizen at Large (City) <br />Roberta Frissell - Citizen at Large (County) <br /> <br />Staff Members: <br />Jean Baldwin, Nursing Sen;iæs Director <br />Larry Fqy, Environmental Healtb Diredor <br />Thomas Locke, MD, Health qlficer <br /> <br />Chairman Buhler called the meeting to order at 2:30 p.m. All Board and Staff members were present. <br />The agenda was amended to include Old Business item "PUD Saltwater Intrusion Monitoring Program" <br />and New Business item "Access to Baby and Child Dentistry (ABCD)." Member Masci moved to <br />approve the agenda as amended. Commissioner Wojt seconded the motion, which carried by a <br />unanimous vote. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br /> <br />Member Masci moved to approve the minutes of August 16,2001. Commissioner Wojt seconded the <br />motion, which carried by a unanimous vote. <br /> <br />PUBLIC COMMENT <br /> <br />Dale Wurtsmith expressed his concern that operations and monitoring inspections by the PUD exclude <br />examination of the septic tank. He asked that a resolution be created requiring that all on-site septic <br />systems have EES inspections prior to any sale of the property. He also believes people should have the <br />right to choose who they want to monitor their alternative system. He agrees with the amendments to the <br />On-Site Sewage Code as proposed. <br /> <br />Chairman Buhler welcomed health services consultant Sherry Harry, RN to the meeting. Member Masci <br />said Ms. Harry brings a lot of experience to the community through her work with First Choice Health <br />Systems. <br />
