The following Board and <br />staff members were present: Commissioner Richard Wojt and Larry Fay. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES: Commissioner Wojt moved to approve the minutes of <br />September 28, 1993, as presented. Chairman Hinton seconded the motion, which carried by <br />unanimous vote. <br /> <br />ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH DIRECTOR'S REPORT <br /> <br />Mildred Simpson; Waiver Request: Larry Fay explained that the design and <br />standards for onsite sewage systems are established in the State WACs. There is a section that <br />allows the local Board of Health to grant a waiver from State standards. Mildred Simpson's <br />property is at Olele Point. She is requesting a waiver in the reduction of the setback from a <br />drainfield to an adjacent well. State standards call for a 100 foot separation.
