Peter Geerlofs, M.D., <br />Health Officer <br /> <br />CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND <br />REPRESENTATIVE: <br />Karen Chang <br /> <br />The meeting was called to order at the Cape George <br />Community Clubhouse by Chairman B. G. Brown. The following Board <br />and members were present: Commissioner Larry W. Dennison, <br />Commissioner George C. Brown, Health Officer, Dr. Peter Geerlofs <br />and Administrator, Kathy Stafford. <br /> <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES: Commissioner Dennison moved to <br />approve the minutes of the August 15, 1989 meeting as presented. <br />Commissioner George Brown seconded the motion. The motion carried <br />by a unanimous vote. <br /> <br />ADMINISTRATORS REPORT: Kathy Stafford, Administrator, <br />reported that the Pediatric Nurse Practitioner position was hired <br />as a part time position, originally. There was also a part time <br />Clinic Nurse Specialist. The Pediatric Nurse Practitioner took on <br />the duties of the Clinic Nurse Specialist on a temporary basis when <br />Mary Tudor left that position. The Pediatric Nurse Practitioner <br />has indicated that she would like to give up the extra duties of <br />the Clinic Nurse Specialist. To split these two positions to two <br />part time position again, Kathy Stafford reported, that there would <br />be no additional cost to the Department. The current full time <br />salary for the Nurse Practitioner is $28,137 with benefits of <br />
