Unanimous. <br /> <br />Approval of Minutes: The minutes of the December 21, 1983 meeting <br />were approvea-on-thelTIoflon of Commissioner O'Meara, seconded by Comm- <br />issioner Pitts. Unanimous. <br /> <br />ErnestCriez rei Appeal of on-site sewage disposal permit rejection; <br />Lots 1 anirLjHock IT, Paradise Bay Estates: Mr. Ernest---Cj;;Iezflasre.:- <br />quested Uiat the rejection or tnesewag-e-dISposal perm1.t applicaUon <br />for Lots 1 and 2 of Paradise Bay Estates, Block 13; be reviewed. <br />The application was made by Mrs. Jane Suzuki, who is the potential <br />buyer of these lots, contingent on approval of the sewagejlsDosal <br />permit. <br /> <br />Randy Durant reported that there had been a site evaluation done in <br />August of 1980 which found the two waterfront lots conditionally acceptable <br />for, maximum of two bedrooms, mobile home or travel trailer. Mr. Criez <br />was advised in September 1980, after inquiring, that a definite plot <br />plan would be required before apy further determination could be made <br />about the type and size of structure these two lots could accomodate. <br /> <br />On waterfront lo~s, such as these, the sewage disposal system set backs <br />(per regulation) are: 100 feet from mean high tide and 10 feet from <br />property lines. Since mean high tide is difficult to determine, the <br />measurement is made from the point that the foliage changes. Randy <br />indicated that when all of the set backs are taken into consideration <br />on ~hese lots, the available drainfield area is limited. Drainfield <br />design dictates that it be placed acyoss slope, which is difficult <br />on these lots due to the variable contour of t~e land. <br />
