Commissioners <br />Richard Wojt and Daniel Harpole were both present. <br /> <br />COMMISSIONERS BRIEFING SESSION <br /> <br /> Approval of Minutes: Commissioner Harpole moved to approve the minutes of the week <br />of May 4, 1998 as presented. In the temporary absence of Commissioner Wojt, Chairman Huntingford <br />seconded the motion which carried by a unanimous vote. <br /> <br /> Discussion re: Request for Funding from Odyssey of the Min& $ilverwater Team: <br />Commissioner Harpole moved to approve funding in the amount of $1,000 to help the Silverwater <br />Odyssey of the Mind team travel to Orlando, Florida to participate in competition finals; and to have <br />staff draft a letter asking that the City of Port Townsend match the amount provided by the County. <br />Staff was also directed to draft criteria for the Board to use in granting this type of request in the future. <br />Commissioner Wojt seconded the motion which carried by a unanimous vote. <br /> <br /> Discussion re: Volunteers for Jefferson Days: A notice will be placed in the "Tuesday <br />Fax" that goes to all County Departments asking for volunteers to help with the Jefferson Days <br />celebration. <br /> <br /> <br />
